Blue Owl believes in providing a private tutoring experience that will give
students the knowledge required to perform well in class or on a standardized
exam, as well as increased confidence in their test taking abilities and study
habits.

Our philosophy is that learning should be structured, yet fun, and we hope to
constantly reinforce our students' desire for future academic success. It is
our goal to reach each student on a personal level that will cultivate the
belief that despite our individual academic strengths and weaknesses, hard work
and focus will produce the desired results of higher grades and increased test
scores! Blue Owl tutors are strong communicators, extremely knowledgeable in
their subjects of expertise, effective teachers, professional and very
organized. With all the "serious" qualities stated, we're also outgoing, fun,
enthusiastic, even amusing at times.... and students love us!

At Blue Owl Tutoring, we believe that a private tutoring experience should be
enjoyable! Learning should never be a dreaded process, even if a student
believes that a certain subject in school is his or her absolute worst. Tutoring
sessions are tailored to individual students, as we understand that there is no
one way to teach concepts or convey ideas. Furthermore, tutoring sessions are
nearly always "one-on-one" in order to create a strong connection between
student and tutor. Blue Owl tutors aim to understand not only a student’s
strengths and weaknesses, but also their personal perceptions about academic
ability, test anxiety, organizational skills and study habits. We strive to
provide students with a learning experience that is not only educational, but
also engaging and connected to life long success. We are strongly committed
to student growth regarding academics, maturity level, and a positive attitude
towards learning!
