Sandra brings over seven years of professional experience to the tutoring table.
Originally from Tampa, Florida, Sandra attended Wilson Middle School and Plant
High School – where she first discovered a love for mathematics and signs of a
natural teaching ability. She tutored several fellow classmates in high school,
and also worked closely with the math competition teams as a coach and
participant. Sandra attended Rice University in Houston, Texas to pursue her
Bachelors degree in Psychology (with several math and business classes on the
side!) and completed a Masters in Human Resource Management as well. She spent
three years working at Advantage Testing of Houston, Inc., where she received
professional training on the best practices of tutoring and gained a solid
understanding of the structure, test strategies, and subject matter covered on
the PSAT, SAT and ACT.

strong faith in her teaching ability, Sandra loves to help her students realize
their own potential while building academic confidence and mathematic
knowledge. Sandra’s students see typical score increases anywhere from 50 to
150 points!
On a personal note, Sandra is an avid reader and very athletic! She enjoys
training for triathlons and running events, as well as participating annually
in the MS-150 cycling tour in Central Florida.
