ACADEMIC TUTORING

 

Our current rate for academic tutoring is $70 an hour.  This includes help with subject coursework, homework, studying for tests and quizzes, and working with home-schooled students.  The courses that I currently tutor are Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus.  This also includes North Carolina Math 1, Math 2, Math 3 and Math 4. At this time, we are NOT offering tutoring for Calculus, Statistics, or college courses.

PSAT, SAT, and ACT TEST PREP  - Individual Lessons

​

​Our current rate for test prep is $70 an hour.  Students are required to schedule a MINIMUM of 8 one-hour sessions prior to their SAT or ACT.  It is best to start a test-prep course about 2-3 months before the exam and plan to meet at least once a week.  Students will also be responsible for purchasing their test prep books. Weekly homework is given (practice exams) and students are expected to come prepared with concepts memorized each week!

PSAT, SAT, and ACT TEST PREP  - Group Lessons

Our current rate for group test prep is $45 an hour per student.  Student groups can include just one other student/friend, or up to a small group of no more than 6 students  Student groups are required to schedule a MINIMUM of 8 sessions prior to their SAT or ACT. This is a perfect lower cost option for students or siblings that would like to study together!

ZOOM LESSONS

Sandra is available to work on Zoom with students for college test prep! Please call to discuss the test prep program.  The pandemic has shown us that one-on-one online tutoring can be incredibly effective, and we enjoy connecting with students outside the state of North Carolina!
